What are the best products for dry skin?

Having dry skin is a problem many of us face- it can be itchy, occasionally painful, hard to control and difficult to know what to do to help bring some moisture back into the skin, so it can feel soft and healthy again.

Different issues can be the root cause of dry skin- from lack of oil in the skin, to dehydration and more severe factors like eczema, fear not- there are PLENTY of products that can alleviate this. Deeper, more nourishing, intense moisturisers, creams and serums will be remedies to those with the more complicated and hard to treat cases of dry skin, whereas those with slightly less sensitive and slightly more hydrated skin will use lighter products.

Moisturisers in particular can really help treat irritated, itchy skin, back to its smooth self. Even those of us with oilier skin-types should always add moisturisers to our skincare routine, to really replenish and feed our face and body with important minerals, vitamins, proteins and more.

Here are some of our favourite products to use for dry skin, so go ahead and check them out so you can feel as good as you want to!

  • Aveeno (perfect for the face and body, especially for the driest, more sensitive skin)
  • Nivea Soft Moisturising cream (with vitamin E and Jojoba oil, this fast absorbing cream will leave you hydrated without feeling oily and tacky)
  • Eucerin Dry Skin Replenishing Cream (with the ingredient Urea, this cream will deeply nourish and hydrate you, reduce your skin water loss, and keep you feeling great all day)
  • CeraVe Moisturising cream (affordable, created by dermatologists and literally made to protect moisture and defend you from environmental influences, to the point that it is highly recommended and loved by those with eczema and psoriasis)

Now make sure you go and take care of your skin, get that summer hydration boosted and feel amazing all day long!
