Brownies are delicious, rich and tasty treats that are bound to lift your spirits at any time of the day. There is just one problem - sometimes, they can be TOO fudgy and heavy. With this delicious, nutritious alternative take on classic chocolate brownies, you will experience the same flavours as the original dessert, only lighter and healthier!
1 cup sweet potatoes
¼ cup cocoa powder
½ cup peanut or almond butter
¼ cup maple syrup
Optional: chocolate chips
Peel and boil the sweet potatoes, then mash them up
Add cocoa powder, nut butter and maple syrup. Mix until well combined.
Bake at 180 degrees C for 20-25 minutes
Let rest for 5-10 minutes, then enjoy!
