Better Banana Bread

On Tasty Tuesday this week, we wanted to share an in-house recipe of the most delicious & healthy Banana Bread. Banana Bread can be eaten as breakfast, dessert or  snack and is sure to satisfy your sweet cravings. This recipe, whilst being mindful of the ingredients all of which are packed with amazing nutrients, is a must-try!

Ingredients

  • 2 medium eggs
  • 5g cinnamon powder
  • 50g chia seeds
  • 60g rolled oats
  • 30g coconut flour
  • 2tbs light honey
  • 60ml coconut/almond/soy milk
  • 3 whole medium bananas
  • 50g whey vanilla/salted caramel/ chocolate protein powder
  • Optional: 30g flaxseeds/mixed nuts
  • Optional: dark chocolate chips
STEP 1
Mash the bananas. Add oats and blend lightly together
STEP 2
Sift in coconut flour, then add all other ingredients and mix until well combined
STEP 3
Bake at 190 (Celcius) with fan, for 35/40 minutes
